Born from a love of good beer and better company

Angry Elk Brewing Company started with a simple idea: brew beer that makes people stop and pay attention. Not flashy. Not pretentious. Just honest, well-made beer in a place where everyone's welcome.

We set up shop in Whittier, tucked into the Blue Ridge foothills, because this is the kind of town that values hard work and a job done right. Every batch we brew carries that same spirit — no shortcuts, no rushing, no cutting corners.
